What you give us

When you build a cheat sheet you provide resume text (typed, pasted, or read from a PDF or DOCX file you upload), a job description, and optional company name, role, interview type, and your name.

Where that information goes

Files you upload are read in your browser. The text pulled out of them is sent to our server only when you click generate. Our server passes your resume text and job details to an AI model provider so the model can write your cheat sheet. That is the only reason it is sent.

HireHaq does not have a user database. We do not create an account for you, and we do not save your resume or job description to a HireHaq database after your cheat sheet is generated.

What is stored in your browser

Your draft inputs, your name, and your generated cheat sheet are kept in your own browser using local storage and session storage so you do not lose your work when you move between pages. Session storage clears when you close the tab. You can clear the rest at any time by clearing your browser data for this site.

Your full cheat sheet is encrypted before it leaves the server and stays encrypted in your browser until your payment is confirmed. Only then is it decrypted for you.

Payments

Checkout runs on Stripe. You enter your card details on Stripe, not on HireHaq. We never see or store your card number. When you return from Stripe, our server checks with Stripe that the payment succeeded and that it belongs to your cheat sheet.

Rate limiting

To stop abuse, our server counts how many free previews come from an IP address each day. That count is held in server memory and is not tied to your name or your resume.

Sharing

We share your submitted text with our AI model provider so it can generate your cheat sheet, and payment details with Stripe so it can process your purchase. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising. Our hosting provider may keep standard technical server logs.

Cookies and analytics

HireHaq does not set advertising or tracking cookies of its own. Stripe may set cookies on its own checkout pages while you pay.
